Q&A With Lead Developer: Nathan Hicks
  1. Why poop? - Why not?! Poops Funny! Plus many other devs have said your first game is gonna be “shit.”  But in all honesty, part of the reason is because I have suffered from Crohn’s Disease for over 12 years now and have even had some surgical procedures to correct the issue and, unfortunately, it returned. So poop humor is basically a coping mechanism for me...BUT it is also a universal language. Everybody poops...and if you don’t you should probably get that looked at...or if you’re like me and go TOO much. If we get greenlit before steam direct takes effect we will also be donating %10 of all steam profits from first 6 months of sales to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation/CCFA
  2. What engine did you use? Why? - Clickteam Fusion 2.5 - I have been using clickteam products since I was around 12 years old and is a program I know very well. It also allows us to be able to shave some time off of the programming aspect while still maintaining quality and stability so we can focus more on the design and amount of content we have planned
  3. When can we expect to see this game released? And where? - Currently we are trying to get onto steam through greenlight (as stated previously) and we are also going to release the game on itch.io and hopefully GOG as well. If all goes well the game shoud be finished and available for purchase sometime during the summer of 2017
  4. How much will the game cost? - So far we plan on only asking  for around$2.00 (US)
  5. Where can we keep up to date with the progress of the game as it's developed? - Right here on our website or follow and like Apostate Games on Facebook and Twitter or the official Facebook game page. Not to mention the official steam greenlight page where we will be posting updates regularly.
  6. Will there be story mode? - Absolutely! We already have several unique characters that will be following an overarching story. We are still hammering out some of those details and working on implementing them in cutscenes which we hopefully will be able to show in an update soon.
